SC Aleviten Paderborn e.V. is actively committed to safe and respectful sporting activities. We condemn all forms of sexualised and interpersonal violence and are committed to creating an environment in which all members – regardless of gender, origin or age – feel comfortable and protected.
Through preventive measures, training and clear guidelines for conduct, we promote respectful interaction and raise awareness of this important issue among our coaches, supervisors and members. We stand for transparency and openness and encourage everyone to report incidents. Together, we are working to make sport a space of safety, respect and community.

We want to motivate and encourage you to enjoy sporting activities. Sport is not just a physical activity, it also plays a central role in our social lives. Both active athletes and loyal sports fans have an integrative effect on society.

WELCOME Paderborn / An initiative by SC Aleviten:

NesT-UNHCR- Neustart im Team (NesT) is an additional humanitarian admission programme for particularly vulnerable refugees. The admission of refugees is linked to support from mentoring groups, which provide accommodation and help newly arrived refugees to integrate.
In 2021, Ardo came to Germany with her four children after the Somali family had lived in the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya for 11 years. With the help and support of the mentoring group at the SC Aleviten Paderborn football club, they are mastering their new start and have big goals for the future: Präsentation.pptx

Our commitment

The plight of refugees concerns us all – including SC Aleviten. For this reason, we consider the state government's initiative to promote voluntary work in refugee aid to be an important step in the right direction.

We have taken the initiative to offer refugees (children, young adults and families) meaningful sporting activities. Enthusiasm for sport remains strong in the refugees' countries of origin.

Therefore, the focus of our project will be on integration through sport.
